"I Could Use A Drink" was an impressive feat of a show, as the book itself was entirely student written; with a loose story revolving around the music of Drew Gasparini's concept album: "I Could Use A Drink." Daniel Holmes and Amelia Simpson were able to organize this album of multiple contriving plot threads into a cohesive coming of age narrative. It is a testament to their talent as writers and directors that the themes of love, heartbreak, friendship, and queerness remain ever present.
